1. Liverpool Can Win The League Next Season If He Stays
As mentioned, Liverpool have certainly excelled this season and Suarez has played a massive part in this. This is probably one of the tightest title races we have seen in recent years. Liverpool are certainly in a good place right now as they currently sit second in the league, and they are also the form team within the league. However, most people would agree that its a season too early to think of them as Premier League champions as its more than likely that at least one of Man City or Chelsea will finish above them. However, qualifying for the Champions League next season will be a massive step forward for the team. Its also likely that being in the elite European competition next season will be enough to keep Suarez at Anfield. There is no doubt that the win wants to win things, and as mentioned the player gives the club a certain level of presence. This is going to be even more the case once Steven Gerrard is less involved with the team. Nevertheless, what this season has proved more than anything else is that we can look at Liverpool as genuine winners of the Premier League. Brendan Rodgers will need to add to his squad this summer, and if he can do that as well as keeping Suarez then the EPL title could be theirs next season.
