Liverpool Transfers: Luis Suarez Can Give Something Back To Anfield By Leaving

£30 million move for Suarez but he is looking to move away so he can protect his family. It will most likely be a move to Spain for Suarez with either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid, ruling out a move to Napoli, AS Monaco and Anzhi would be foolish as they have the money and good man managers at each club. This is what Suarez need to stay out of the public eye for reasons other than his brilliant footballing ability. If Liverpool let Suarez leave (for the right price obviously) he will give the Liverpool fans something back for being so supportive of him. With a £30 million + deal, Liverpool could get themselves a few decent footballers across all positions. Some may say Suarez is irreplaceable but Liverpool signed him for £22.8 million just 2 seasons ago so he can be replaced easy enough with £30 million. The most likely players to be linked with Liverpool after a Suarez deal has been made, in my opinion, are; Toby Alderweireld of Ajax, Alvaro Negredo of Sevilla, Alvaro Morata of Real Madrid (on loan if Suarez goes to Real Madrid), Christian Benteke of Aston Villa, James McCarthy of Wigan Athletic and Martin Montoya of Barcelona. All these players would fit Brandon Rodgers system and provide lessen the gap between Liverpool and the promised land of a top four place. Alderweireld is a quality center back and has been courted by Liverpool in the past, not only can he play at center back he can make a move over to right back if needed. The Belgium International will be around the £10 million mark but is an investment for Liverpool. Negredo is being linked with Man City on what seems a daily basis and although he is good, he is not at the standard City need him to be straight away. At Liverpool the Spanish International will be given time to adjust and if Liverpool are sensible they could out a buy out clause in his contact so if City do come sniffing around again they will have to pay top end for his services. Negredo would be in the £22 million region but would be a decent replacement for Suarez and could get very close to the goals to game ratio which Argentine had last season. Morata is on the brink of something special but may find his time at Real Madrid frustrating as now he is behind Isco, Ronaldo, Benzema and Di Maria in the forward line. If Suarez was to make a move to Real Madrid then a loan move for Morata would be in Liverpool's best interest. He shone in the Under 21's tournament in the summer and is bringing that confidence into this season. Benteke could be £20 million plus at Aston Villa will want to keep him but will have to be realistic in the price tag. Villa would benefit from having doubled what they paid for him and more, it would work in both interests of the club and a possible loan move for Downing in the opposite direction. James McCarthy for Wigan is a player which could fill the gap Mascherano and Alonso left behind, in one player. He has it all McCarthy but will need a team to believe in him and pay the price. McCarthy could be the missing link in the Liverpool midfield and Wigan could certainly do with the money to build a team ready for a promotion push back to the Premier League. If Wigan hold onto him for much longer he will decrease in value if they fail to gain promotion. Martin Montoya is a fantastic right back and has proven his worth in the Under 21's tournament in the summer. May find first team football at Barcelona limited this season but is certain to be the long term replacement for Dani Alves. Montoya on loan would give Liverpool the width they need and also competition for Glen Johnson who is becoming less reliable. Liverpool may not get these players but they are an example of the level they need to reach for. Liverpool have been sleeping giants in recent years and its about time they were back in the top four.
