Man City Transfers: 10 DREAM Signings Manuel Pellegrini Could Make

8. Dante

Another centre-half Manchester City are reportedly looking into is Bayern Munich's Dante. Manuel Pellegrini is not only looking to buy in cover in case Kompany should sustain another injury but is also hoping to buy a partner for the Belgian with Joleon Lescott on his way out. Lescott is reportedly set tojoin Aston Villa on-loan and Pellegrini sees Dante as an ideal replacement for the ex-Everton man. Bayern boss Pep Guardiola is not looking to sell the 30-year-old and is certainly under no pressure to do so after his side won a clean sweep of trophies last season. But City have the money to make the European champions sit and think about it, though they face competition from equally-as-free-spending moneybags Monaco. Dante is under contract at the Allianz Arena until 2016, though his arrival would led City composure at the back to compliment their gung-ho attacking players.
