Man City Transfers: Predicting Manuel Pellegrini's 5 August Signings

close to £90 million on new recruits so far and we've only just entered the business end of the transfer window. Jesus Navas, Fernandinho, Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo have all joined the Sky Blue revolution in recent months with the club's hierarchy hoping the Citizens can go one better than last season and reclaim the Premier League title. And they will also be hoping for an improvement on the European front, as well, having watched the side exit at the Group Stages of the Champions League last season with the lowest tally of points ever amassed by an English side. With City having already spent almost £100 million this summer, are we to expect any more signings? Yes, according to Pellegrini himself. The Chilean boss recently remarked:

"We have the month of July and some days of August to finish the squad completely. It's not absolutely complete, but it's very near to being complete."
