Man Utd: 10 Reasons Why Giggs-Van Gaal Relationship Will End In Tears

5. Giggs Will Eventually Take Van Gaal€™s Job

It is an odd scenario to find yourself in, working with someone who you know is being lined up to be your successor. However, that is the role van Gaal finds himself in as it seems pretty clear that Giggs will one day become manager of United. It was mooted by some that Giggs€™ presence was a distraction for Moyes, with the former Everton manager aware that the Welshman would one day take his place. Well, the same scenario is set to occur now. Undoubtedly, van Gaal€™s confidence should mean that he is unaffected, but the presence of Giggs will be an intriguing element of the Dutchman€™s reign. Having been in full control for four matches, Giggs will be eager to provide his input and influence, something van Gaal may well be wary of allowing given that the Welshman is his successor.
