4. Giggs Might Be Incompetent

This selection seems an odd one on the list, given the fact that Giggs is being lined up as a future United manager, but as of yet no one knows how he will fare in the coaching world. He may have been a brilliant player, but brilliant players don€™t always make brilliant coaches. As interim manager at the end of last season, Giggs had four matches to showcase his skills. While there may have been some pleasing results, the defeat at home to Sunderland suggests that Welshman is far from being the finished article. We have already discussed how van Gaal does not suffer fool€™s lightly and if he does not rate Giggs, the new United manager will have no issues with voicing his concerns. A move the club€™s hierarchy would not be best pleased with.
