Man Utd: 5 Managers Who Could Replace David Moyes

Two home defeats in the space of three days has left David Moyes on the brink at Manchester United. Last Wednesday, Everton recorded their first league win at Old Trafford since 1992 before Newcastle went one better on Saturday by earning their first away win in the league against the Red Devils since 1972. I was at each of those games and the noise directed at David Moyes from the travelling away support to the right of the press box was audible and clear - "You're getting sacked in the morning, sacked in the morning - you're getting sacked in the morning!" Bookmakers tend to agree - as United all-but forfeited their Premier League title on Saturday afternoon, the odds of the Scot becoming the next managerial fatality were sliced to 12/1. There's very little - if any - more room for manoeuvre when it comes to mistakes at United and with seven points separating them from the Champions League places, even a top four finish could now be beyond them. Just seven months ago, the Red Devils won the league by 11 points - just to put into brutal clarity the sheer decline endured under Moyes' tenure. You can almost hear the knives being sharpened in the Old Trafford boardroom. And if Moyes is sacked, here, we take a look at 5 potential managerial replacements.
