Man Utd: 5 Reasons David Moyes Should Be Sacked Immediately

1. He Isn't The Right Man For The Job, And He Never Was

David Moyes's defenders will point out he should be given more time to establish himself at Manchester United and that firing him now, just over six months after his appointment, is rash. They will also be quick to mention that it took Sir Alex Ferguson four years to find the winning formula at Old Trafford when he replaced Ron Atkinson in 1986, and Moyes deserves similar patience. But those arguments fall down in the face of cold, hard facts. Ferguson took charge of a United side on its knees and guided them to their first topflight title in 25 years. Moyes has taken over a side who won the Premier League by 11 points last season and has, almost overnight, transformed them into mid-table failures. David Moyes isn't the right man for the job and he never was. He has never won a piece of major silverware, has an abysmal record against top-level opponents and there are simply better candidates out there for the job. United need to kick him to the curb, cut their losses and move on swiftly, or face many more years of mediocrity.
