Man Utd: 5 Reasons Why Red Devils' Title Challenge Is Over
2. The Other Teams
To win the league, you have to be better than everybody. Quite simply, Manchester United won't be. Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool have all had fantastic campaigns so far, and current form would suggest that their respective challenges show little sign of abating. Quite the contrary. Liverpool now look unlikely to take the crown, but their recent form is fairly promising, and it's be hard to bet against them for a Champions League place if Suarez stays fit and disciplined. Arsenal may be suffering from a spate of recent injuries, but they are still 11 points clear of Manchester United, and expect Ramsay and Giroud to return to the fold in the very near future. Manchester City have a strength in depth that is the envy of Europe, and their perfect home form so far this season has driven them to within a point of Arsenal, and 10 points clear of Manchester United. It's hard to see how the Blues will be overhauled by their Mancunian counterparts. And there's Chelsea. Led by the "Special One" himself, there's a quiet confidence exuding from Stamford Bridge, and 9 points is a tall order for United to overhaul in Chelsea's current form. Not to mention they still have to overhaul Everton and Tottenham, who will doubtless be voracious in their pursuit of the final Champions League spots. It may be unfair to suggest that the current United team aren't better than any of these teams. But they aren't based on their performances so far, and it is a bit of a stretch to suggest they'll be better than all of these teams come May.
