Man Utd Next Manager: 5 Reasons Why Moyes Is A Better Option Than Mourinho

4. Mourinho Isn't The Long Term Solution

Jose Mourinho isn't the long-term solution for Manchester United. This is a period where the champions need stability more than anything else and the current Real Madrid coach, quite frankly, is a flake. He has never spent more than three years at any one club, and has flitted from team to team and country to country since 2001 when he left Benfica after just one season in charge. Since then, he's managed UniĆ£o de Leiria for a further one year, Porto for two years, Chelsea for three, Inter Milan for two and looks set to call time on his Madrid stay after just 3 years. It is perhaps unfair to expect a manager to stick around for the 26-years Ferguson did - that's a one off and will never happen again - but United deserve a manager who isn't just going to up sticks and move whenever the going gets tough. By contrast, David Moyes is the third longest-serving Premier League manager behind Ferguson and Arsene Wenger, and that's the sort of dedication United need right now.
