3. Ryan Giggs (Current Odds: 12/1)

Chances of him taking the job: Good. Chances of it being offered: Slim-to-Moderate. Giggs has been installed into the position of caretaker manager for the remainder of the current season and his tenure and loyalty to Manchester United have led many to speculate that he might be offered the post permanently come the summer. Whilst no doubt a popular choice amongst United fans, his complete lack of experience at a coaching level (he's yet to even complete his coaching badges) make him a poor, realistic choice for permanent coach, especially in the wake of the difficulties Moyes faced managing a club of United's stature. Telling also, is the fact that in the 27 years he's been a player at Manchester United, he was never once the permanent club captain (though did captain the team in intermittent periods). A sentimental choice and good enough as a stop gap between now and when a new permanent boss comes in, Giggs isn't the man United are looking for right now to establish an identity once again in that United side.
