Man Utd Transfer News: 3 Players in Old Trafford Exit

Manchester United are stepping up plans to offload Dimitar Berbatov, Federico Macheda and Bebe.

The Telegraph reports that the Old Trafford club are hoping to offload all three players as part of permanent deals or loan offers. Sir. Alex Ferguson is keen to trim his squad and believes that all three players have no place in his plans for this season. Meanwhile, the Red Devils insist that they "will not entertain" offers for Nani or Javi Hernandez, quashing reports that both could be leaving Old Trafford this summer. It is believed Bulgarian international Berbatov, now 31-years-old, is available for just £5 million, £25 million less than what United paid for him from Spurs in 2008. Despite still scoring regularly when called upon for United, the veteran forward has now dropped even further down the pecking order with the signing of Robin Van Perise this past week. However no clubs have believed to have matched Fergie's valuation yet and it could well be that Berbatov is forced to sit out the final year of his contract before leaving for nothing next summer. As for Macheda, he spent some time on loan at Queens Park Rangers last summer which ended up being a frustrating spell. Bebe meanwhile spent last season on loan at Benfica.
