Man Utd Transfer News: Cristiano Ronaldo AVAILABLE For Just £60 Million?

Man United could re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo... For "just" £60 million

The Sun. It had been speculated that clubs would have to break the bank to sign Ronaldo from the La Liga champions, however a more realistic fee for the 27 year old forward would likely be around the £60 million mark - 20 million less than what Madrid paid for him in 2009. Reports have surfaced in recent weeks that Ronaldo has confided in his former Man United teammates that he would love to return to Old Trafford, where he scored 118 goals in 292 appearances between 2003 and 2009. The Portuguese' could now try to force his way out of Madrid with just two years remaining on his current contract and it is widely believed that he will not be signing a new deal at the Bernabeu next summer. Should Ronaldo leave, he would appear to have two choices, according to The Sun. Those are either return to Old Trafford or join Qatar-owned Paris St Germain, one of the richest clubs in world football. He could expect to earn £300,000-per-week at United, 50K more than the clubs current highest earner Wayne Rooney. However, PSG could likely blow that out of the water and offer him £500,000-per-week. Clearly, the choices are re-sign for United for sentimental reasons, or join PSG for financial reasons. It appears staying at Madrid is no longer an option...
