Man Utd Transfer News: Robin Van Persie Having Medical in Manchester

Arsenal captain Robin van Persie is set to have a medical at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hospital over the next few days, according to reports.

Update:Manchester Evening News are now also reporting the medical story. According to ManUtd.ot, Arsenal captain Robin van Persie is set to have a medical at Manchester€™s Bridgewater Hospital over the next few days. Both Manchester clubs use the Manchester Bridgewater Hospital so all that this reportedly confirms at the present time is that Robin van Persie is leaving Arsenal for Manchester. Both clubs have reportedly wanted the 29-year-old Dutchman ever since he announced on his personal blog that he wouldn€™t be renewing his contract with Arsenal that expires in 12 months time. Despite rumours that the PFA Player of the year was starting to like the new direction Arsenal are taking in the transfer window with the securing of Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud and Santi Carzola, with Real Madrid's Nuri Sahin potentially also on the way, it seems even them spending around £40 million this summer will not convince RVP. Whilst for the mean time this is just speculation, certain sources have unofficially announced that Van Persie will be in Manchester and with Sir Alex Ferguson leaving Manchester United's tour early on €˜club business€™ it certainly seems that something is definitely brewing and the Van Persie saga could be coming to an end.
