the Mirror, Arsenal and Manchester Uniteds agreement over the transfer of Robin van Persie, which was announced yesterday, isnt as straightforward as fans may think. Van Persie will sign for Manchester United this week subject to a medical and contract negotiations for around £22 million. Whilst the 29-year-old Dutchman joins Manchester United, Javier Hernandez could be set to leave for the Emirates as part of the deal. With Manchester United now creating a stronger strike team having Van Persie likely partner with Wayne Rooney it looks like Hernandez will have to make way rather than the rumoured departure of Dimitar Berbatov. Javier Hernandez was offered to Arsenal along with a cash sum of no less than £20 million. Hernandez may have no future left at Old Trafford after RVP looks to have stolen his spot in the team. The Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was believed to be holding out for £30 million for his captain although it seems the addition of Hernandez to the squad has completed the deal. At the age of just 24-years-old, the Mexican forward still has a lot of potential and to say Manchester United have gifted Arsenal the player, looks to be a foolish move. Hernandez scored 10 goals in 28 league games last season, whilst this is little compared to Robin van Persie, with Hernandez will the likes of Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott Arsenal may have found a future RVP.
