2. Tom Cleverley
If United were to look at their current squad and identify a player that could replace Scholes, then surely one of the names at the top of that list would be Tom Cleverley. The youngster has enjoyed a successful season with United, having claimed his first Premier League winners medal last campaign, and will be hungry to add more. An energetic, industrious player, Cleverley has bags of ability and can chip in with a goal or two, and now that Scholes has retired, he will undoubtedly be looking to cement himself a regular spot in the United team.
