Club: Newcastle Position: Goalkeeper Value: £20m Easily one of the most important factors in Newcastle's success last season, the Dutch 'keeper is also one of the best keeping talents in the world at the minute, with his best years ahead of him, and though they spent a massive amount of bringing David De Gea into Old Trafford, United still need a custodian they can rely on like Peter Schmeichel or Edwin Van Der Sar to provide the strongest possible foundation to their team. Thanks to his impressive shot-stopping ability, as well as his agility and athleticism, Krul could well be the best solution to that problem, and though questions remains over his kicking sometimes, his progress in the past couple of seasons since making the number one spot his own has been incredible. He is one of Newcastle's prized assets, and wouldn't be available for cheap, but since he cost very little when he joined from Den Haag, and since Newcastle's business model values profit over everything else, a bid of around £20m may be enough to tempt Mike Ashley into selling.
