3. Marco Verratti
Italians are particularly well noted these days for the quality of Central Midfielders that have graced the Serie A, the European and the World stage (Daniele De Rossi, Francesco Totti and Andrea Pirlo among them). Marco Verratti has already gone abroad as part of the Qatari revolution at PSG, to allow him to gain mass exposure at a media-heavy club. A potentially shrewd move, if he is to consolidate his place in the national team, and with David Beckham gaining much attention from the French and international press, Verratti can allow himself to get on with his game, as the spotlight isn't as glaring on him, as it might've done if he remained in Italy. Most often found in a deep-lying position, he is in a position to emulate these greats with his powers of passing and his positional sense on the field seen to be his best attributes. His development is being enhanced by playing around world class stars such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David Beckham which can only be a huge plus, so the fact he will be used to not be the centre of attention in the team will aid the transition from Ligue 1 to the Premier League, where all the stars come out to play, week in and week out.
