Perhaps one of the more 'attainable' targets for David Moyes this January is Everton star Ross Barkley. The winter transfer window conjures up the problem of players being cup tied in the Champions League which sullies any potential deals, however, that does not apply to Barkley. With the Toffee's not in Europe, Barkley could walk straight into United's side and play in the latter stages of the Champions League, which is a big bonus. The 20-year-old is being heralded as the biggest talent to emerge at Goodison Park since Wayne Rooney and is tipped to become a huge star in seasons to come. Three goals in 19 Premier League appearances this season has made a number of clubs sit up and take note, while United have been linked with a mega £50 million bid. The Red Devils have had problems in their transfer dealings with Everton in the past and though they took Marouane Fellaini from the Merseyside club last summer, were denied Leighton Baines. And they could find Everton in no mood to sell one of their brightest young talents. Indeed, it would likely take a blockbuster bid to make that happen.
