4. Angel Di Maria
With Real Madrid looking set to win the race for attacking midfielder and winger Gareth Bale, Angel Di Maria could be deemed surplus to requirement at the Bernabeu next season. The pacy Argentine was linked with United
back in May after it emerged he would be part of a clear-out that has so far seen Gonzalo Higuain sold to Napoli. The 25-year-old has been offered to United this summer for just £25 million, and his time in the Spanish capital could be about to end three seasons after signing from Benfica. United's wingers were largely ineffectual last term, with Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young and particularly Luis Nani putting in a series of inconsistent performances under Sir Alex Ferguson. And Di Maria could be a terrific addition to the Red Devil's midfield. The creative pass-master has 53 assists and 25 goals to his name from his 137 appearances for Los Blancos so far, and though he is contracted until 2018, Real appear to be reciprocal to the prospect of doing business.
