3. Marouane Fellaini
The Everton utility man is a long-term target for the Red Devils - and has re-emerged on the champions' radar since the appointment of former Toffee's boss David Moyes as manager at Old Trafford. The ex-Goodison Park chief wants to swoop on his former club for one of their prized assets and has until the middle of this month if he hopes to claw Fellaini away from Merseyside. The Belgian international's £23 million release clause
will expire on August 14, at which point his club will be able to demand in excess of £30 million. And if Moyes wants to sign the 25-year-old for a fee that comes anywhere close to resembling good value for money, he has less than two weeks to make his move. Fellaini represents the type of player United have been after for years, and that is a tough and imposing box-to-box midfielder. The former Standard Liege man is hard working, has high energy levels and never gives up the ball without a fight, and it is those qualities that United need in their engine room.
