3. Emilio Izaguirre
The Celtic left-back has been a long-term target for Manchester United and the Honduras international even claimed in 2011 that the Red Devils had
made an approach to sign him. The 27-year-old enjoyed a tremendous season that year and was voted SPFA Players' Player of the Year, Clydesdale Bank SPL Player of the Year, Scottish Football Writers Player of the Year and Celtic Players€™ Player of the Year after helping the side to the SPL title, which he has now won twice. United's interest in him appears to have cooled however despite the player's comments at the time that former manager Sir Alex Ferguson directly made contact with Celtic's directors over a potential move. Izaguirre
only has two years left of his current deal at Celtic Park and if United renew their interest, the Scottish champions could be tempted into selling if a big enough offer came in, knowing his transfer value is only going to start depreciating over the next year.
