2. David Alaba
Bayern Munich left-back David Alaba was part of the treble-winning German side and whilst it was a great club achievement it also gave the player a chance to prove himself on a few of the biggest stages in Europe. It is unclear how much Alaba would cost Manchester United but the talent that the youngster would add to the team would be invaluable. The Austrian has
appeared in 23 Bundesliga games this season for the German champions and has established himself as a strong member of the squad. The transfer of the 20-year-old may be a long shot with Munich unlikely to want to sell him, but the decision to splash the cash on the youngster could well secure the future of Uniteds defence. Not only would the transfer fee to persuade Bayern Munich to sell Alaba be high, it could be a challenge for United to lure the player away from Germany. The youngster is currently in a deal to keep him at the Allianz Arena until
June 2015, so Moyes would need to make a decent offer if he would want to secure the left-back.
