Man Utd Transfers: 5 Reasons Why Cristiano Ronaldo Must Return

3. He Is Unhappy In Spain

Ronaldo In September last year, Ronaldo declared himself "sad" at Real Madrid and later explained he was unhappy with people at the club after refusing to celebrate either of the two goals he scored in a 3-0 La Liga victory over Granada. He explained later:
€œI€™m sad - when I don€™t celebrate goals it€™s because I€™m not happy. It€™s a professional thing. Real Madrid know why I€™m not happy."
His relationship with Real's hierarchy was strained further this year when he was left upset by his club's apparent lack of support for his pursuit of personal honours, like at the Ballon d'Or awards in January. Ronaldo has always spoken positively of his time at United and in particularly of Sir Alex Ferguson, who he considers a second father. Contrastingly, Ronaldo's relationship with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is non-existent due to the Spaniard's reluctance to become personally involved with his clubs players.
