1. Robert Lewandowski
According to some reports, Manchester United have already signed Robert Lewandowski, who will allegedly make the move to Old Trafford in the summer. The player will reportedly accept an offer of £20.5 million in wages and his club Borussia Dortmund have settled on an £18 million fee. If such news is accurate, and Ferguson has indeed completed his summer transfer business six months in advance, then that could perhaps be indicative of his growing concern as to the longevity of Robin van Persie. The fact that he has seemingly already lined up another forward is quite telling. According to German newspaper Bild, 24-year-old Lewandowski will sign a five-year contract at Old Trafford worth around £4.1 million annually. The Polish striker has been found in fine form recently; he has scored 15 times in 25 appearances for Dortmund this season and was an integral figure in their Champions League Group Campaign, helping them top the so called "Group of Death" ahead of the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Ajax.
