Giggs has been a fantastic servant to Manchester United; a true warrior of the sport, and he is proving his worth once again in United's midfield. The problem is that his pace is gone. He is a fine footballer for his age, and keeps himself fit and ready for action. But if United are to really challenge for glory, they cannot afford a 41-year-old in the 25-man squad. They need to have a much more vibrant squad, and Giggs' presence in the squad at his age is more a reflection on the abject quality of their midfield, as opposed to his outstanding use to the side. He has been amazing. But his time is up. Move him upstairs, move him out. But move him anyway.
