5. Andrea Ranocchia
One of David Moyes' first potential signings this summer could be Inter Milan's impressive looking Andrea Rannochia. While the 25-year old centre back admittedly endured something of a mixed season at the San Siro last term, with
I Nerazzurri finishing ninth in Serie A, he has still managed to
catch the eye of Moyes. The Italian international is viewed as having heaps of potential at the age of 25 and has been touted with a move to the Premier League as the long-term successor to the 34-year old Rio Ferdinand as well as cover for the injury-prone Nemanja Vidic. Centre back is arguably one of the main areas of the pitch that is most in need of addressing by Moyes at Old Trafford and by bringing in Rannochia, the Scotsman would be adding to an already youthful spine of players at United with Phil Jones and Chris Smalling also set to make the step up in defence over the coming seasons.
