It cant be easy being a Manchester Utd fan right now having lost the best manager of all time after 27 years, a manager who has been there for so long at least one whole generation of Utd fans have never known anything other than Alex Ferguson as their manager. That has to be tough with Moyes now in and with not the greatest start under his belt pressure is starting to build.At the end of last season standing on the Old Trafford pitch Sir Alex told the Utd faithful to be patience, to give the new manager time and to trust he will keep Utd as the most successful team in England. Now that is easy to say and a lot harder to do success has been breed into Utd fans losing two games this early in a season used to be unthinkable and with mangers being sacked so quickly these days its gonna be hard for fans to show restraint and give Moyes the time he needs.
Moyes is a great manger he proved it many times at Everton and with a year under his belt just to get used to Old Trafford and the different pressures on him now Man Utd will easily been a force in English football but fans might have to swallow a bitter pill and suffer through a transitional year if they do then I have no doubts Utd will be just as successful under Moyes.
But a victory over Liverpool would ease any nerves fans might be having even a League Cup or FA Cup win would be good enough for Utd fans to show faith with Moyes and let him build his own legacy. There shouldnt be so much pressure on Moyes or should this game be considered a must win but any win over Liverpool is a good way to win over Utd fans and would take away any growing questions about Moyess record against the top clubs.
No matter what there are so many reasons to watch Man Utd vs. Liverpool on Wednesday will be an epic encounter and I know I dont want to miss it but what do you think?
