Despite suffering something of an indifferent campaign last season that saw him relegated behind Robin van Persie as United's main striker, Rooney still had a big part to play in their title-winning success. No.2 on our list is the absolute piledriver the striker scored vs Norwich back in March in a thumping 4-0 win that would send the Red Devils 15 points clear at the top of the table and on the road to glory. Shinji Kagawa scored a hat-trick but not even that feat was enough to put Rooney in the shade as he picked up the ball at the edge of the area, dribbled past a few defenders, before cannoning an absolute thunderbolt into the top corner of Mark Bunn's goal in the 90th minute to complete the rout.
