Napoli 2-0 Arsenal: Champions League Player Ratings

Napoli

Rafael Cabral: Parried Giroud's shot, but had little else to do. 6/10.

Christian Maggio: Tried to chip Szczesny, but got it wrong. Italy right back kept Cazorla pretty quiet. 7/10.

Raul Albiol: Had his work cut out for him marking Giroud, but a clean sheet. 6.5/10.

Federico Fernandez: Booked for a spat with Ramsey, but only blemish on a more than decent display by this Argentine defender. 6.5/10.

Pablo Armero: Broke forward from left back when Jenkinson caught out, but stopped by Mertesacker. Hesitated when in behind the home defence in second half, so shot went straight down Szczesny's throat. 6.5/10.

Blerim Dzemaili: Booked for a foul on Koscielny. Ex-Bolton player didn't really get a grip on midfield. 5/10.

Valon Behrami: Another old Premier League player shown up by the passing philosophy of Arsenal. 5/10.

Jose Callejon: Let fly after half an hour, but shot well wide. Dragged off target when he pounced on Koscielny's error after the break. Teed up Higuain for first goal and chipped Szczesny to score himself, so got rewards for hard work. Man of the match. 7.5/10.

Goran Pandev: Macedonia captain showed flashes in the hole, but subbed before the hour. 5.5/10.

Dries Mertens: Booked for fouling Rosicky and outshone by sub Insigne. 5/10.

Gonzalo Higuain: Arsenal summer target got little change out of Mertesacker and Koscielny, but took his goal superbly. 6/10.

Subs: Lorenzo Insigne: Came on for final half hour and assisted second goal. Should have started, 6.5/10.
