Newcastle Premier League Managers Ranked By Win Percentage

2. Sir Bobby Robson - 46.66%

Newcastle United Manager: September 2nd 1999-August 30th 2004 Games In Charge: 225 Won: 119 Drew: 64 Lost: 72 Win Percentage: 46.66% Reason For Leaving: Sacked Now we're really into the big hitters - and to the man who, despite having won numerous league titles and European trophies with the likes of Barcelona, PSV Eindhoven and Porto, was exceptionally proud to manage the club his father supported. Sir Bobby Robson arrived following Ruud Gullit's resignation in September 1999 and he went on to manage the club for almost five years, leading them to two top-four finishes and into the Champions League. One of the greatest managers in the history of the game, Robson built an exciting Newcastle side who attacked with pace - and included the likes of Craig Bellamy, Nobby Solano, Gary Speed, Laurent Robert, Kieron Dyer and Alan Shearer. A return of 119 victories from 225 games in charge is an extremely-good record and gives the late, great Robson a 46.66% win ratio as Magpies boss. Unceremoniously sacked by chairman Freddy Shepherd, Newcastle went disastrously downhill in the seasons following Robson's dismissal.
