Newcastle United will be hoping to extend their winning run to five games as they take on relegation battlers Bolton Wanderers at St. James' Park this afternoon in a non-televised 3pm kick-off. Here's the team news ahead of the game. Newcastle boss Alan Pardew will assess the fitness of key midfield pairing Yohan Cabaye and Cheick Tiote who were both forced off early in the victory at Swansea on Friday. Whilst it is expected the French international Cabaye might be ok to start, Tiote admitted to press on Sunday that he doesn't think he will have recovered to play in today's game. Captain Fabricio Coloccini has been pressing for a quick recall from his hamstring injury that has kept him out of the last two games but he will almost certainly sit out of today's fixture with Pardew opting to rest him for the almost fortnight break until The Magpies next game against Stoke on April 21st. That will likely mean the in-form James Perch who has rejuvenated his career from obscurity with some impressive displays will again partner Mike Williamson in the center of defence with long-term absentee Steven Taylor sidelined for the rest of the season. Danny Guthrie (hamstring) and Haris Vuckic who were missing for the Swansea game are expected to be ruled out again. Wild card winger Gabriel Obertan has been missing for several weeks and has now been ruled out for at least the next two games with foot injury. Leon Best, Sylvain Marveaux, Peter Lovenkrands and Sammy Ameobi are all ruled out for the rest of the season. We expect Newcastle boss Pardew to field his three pronged attack of Hatem Ben Arfa, Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba to remain rigid for today's game. Utility man Ryan Taylor is also available for selection again having appeared off the bench against Swansea on Friday. For Bolton, defender Marcos Alonso (calf) will have a late fitness test ahead of today's game. Full-back Gretar Steinsson (knee) could play after being among the subs for Saturday's defeat to Fulham. Tyrone Mears (knee) and Darren Prately are available again. Winger Gregg Wylde is still unavailable as he waits for clearance to play. Lee Chung-yong (leg) and Stuart Holden (knee) are long-term absentees and Fabrice Muamba is still recovering in hospital after his collapse last on the field last month. Line-ups from; Newcastle (from): Krul, Elliot, Harper, Simpson, Santon, R Taylor, Ferguson, Perch, Williamson, Tiote, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Gutierrez, Abeid, Gosling, Ba, Cisse, Shola Ameobi, Tavernier, Donaldson. Bolton (from): Bogdan, Jaaskelainen, Alonso, Steinsson, Wheater, Boyata, Knight, Ream, Ricketts, Reo-Coker, M Davies, Klasnic, Miyaichi, Ngog, Petrov, Vela, Eagles, Tuncay, K Davies, Sordell, Pratley, Blake.
