Chris' Winner: Newcastle United. If the Magpies had managed to beat Sunderland even once this season, or draw twice against their bitter rivals, then the Black Cats would have been relegated instead of Hull City. What's more, the relegation struggle wouldn't have come down until the last match of the campaign for Newcastle either. Yet the inept Alan Pardew and John Carver have now jointly led the Magpies to five successive derby defeats against Sunderland following 1-0 reversals at both St James' Park and the Stadium of Light this season. Ross' Winner: Newcastle United. Sunderland are awful - let's not beat around the bush here. Yet Newcastle somehow cannot beat them, and the Magpies keep allowing the Black Cats to accumulate enough points to remain in the Premier League. This generosity is cherished on Wearside, but it is becoming a bit tedious on Tyneside - to say the least...
