5. Gus Poyet
The Brighton and Hove Albion manager is almost certain to walk out on the club this summer following his bitter row with the club after finding himself suspended in the wake of the club's play-off semi-final defeat by Crystal Palace. His future was then cast into further uncertainty after he
failed to attend a disciplinary hearing, while the League Manager's Association even stepped into the dispute by calling Brighton's decision to suspend the manager "unfounded". And with his position now thought to be untenable, he has already been tipped to move on with Wigan at one point keen on offering him the vacancy left by Roberto Martinez at the DW Stadium before deciding on Owen Coyle. And that could leave the door open for him to move to Newcastle should Pardew indeed resign. Poyet, who played in midfield for both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, has made no secret of his ambition to one day manage in England's top flight and he could well get his wish if his fierce argument with Brighton pushes him further still to the exit door.
