4. Roberto Di Matteo
The former Chelsea boss is currently out of work following his dismissal from Chelsea last November and there are very few unemployed managers who boast a CV as impressive as that of the Italian's. The likable coach guided the Blues to FA Cup glory last May and followed that up with a historic Champions League triumph - the first in the history of the West London club. Yet that was not enough to spare him from the unmerciful oligarch Roman Abramovich, with the Chelsea owner giving him his marching orders late last year. After being out of work for almost a year, Di Matteo could be tempted to try his hand at club management in the Premier League for a third time, having also managed West Brom between 2009 and 2011. He was appointed following their relegation from the top flight in '09 and in his first season at the Hawthorns, the Baggies finished second in the Championship, behind Newcastle United, and won automatic promotion to the Premier League. And with the Magpies in dire straits, perhaps he could rescue them from an uncertain future also.
