Newcastle's 2008/09 Relegation Squad - Where Are They Now?

30. David Edgar

Huddersfield Town's David Edgar. The lanky defender left Newcastle at the end of the relegation campaign, joining then Premier League new boys Burnley. He would stay at The Clarets until last season when he was released, although he was sent out on loan to Swansea early on in his time at Turf Moor. He joined Lee Clark's Birmingham City ahead of the 2014/15 campaign but fell out of favour upon the arrival of new manager Gary Roewtt. Chris Powell took him to Huddersfield at the start of this year where the Canadian would make 12 appearances.
