A second-straight 11th-placed finish for Newcastle under Bobby Robson was secured in emphatic fashion with a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa at St James' Park. Stephen Glass (remember him?) scored, before Carl Cort managed to grab one during an extremely rare appearance for the perennially-injured striker, and then a Mark Delaney own goal completed a miserable afternoon for the Villans.
