Newcastle's Top-10 Summer Striking Targets Ranked By Goals-Per-Game Ratio
8. Saido Berahino - 0.36 (41 in 114)
2014-15 GOALSCORING RATIO: 0.44 (20 GOALS IN 45 GAMES) Deemed to be one of the hottest prospects in England, Berahino's hefty pricetag of between £15 million and £20 million could yet put paid to any move to Tyneside. While his career goalscoring ratio at West Bromwich Albion, Northampton Town (loan), Brentford (loan) and Peterborough United (loan) may be a relatively modest 0.36 goals per match (41 goals in 114 games), he too enjoyed a glorious 2014-15 campaign. In 45 matches for the Baggies last season, the 21-year-old found the back of the net on 20 occasions - giving him a 2014-15 scoring ratio of 0.44 goals per match. Certain to be capped by England one day, even a £20 million pricetag could gain a sell-on fee in the future...
