Norwich City: 5 Reasons Chris Hughton Should Be Sacked

1. Use Of Subs And Tactical Approach

I think one of the things that annoys Norwich fans the most about Hughton is his tactical approach to games. Obviously, this can cover a wide variety of things from style of play to the general way that he sets the team up. Norwich aren€™t exactly free scoring, and sitting back on slender wins or not going for it enough has certainly hurt the team. However, the way he attempts to deal with things during the match also causes a problem. Fans are often frustrated by the ways he uses the subs for a variety of reasons such as making changes too late, or simply making like for like changes that don€™t do much to impact a game. In fact, in Norwich€™s recent 2-0 defeat against West Ham it was the fact that he made changes that irritated some fans. When the game was 0-0 Norwich were the much better side going into the final ten minutes with Nathan Redmond in particular looking strong. However, Hughton elected to take him off as well as Gary Hooper who was looking the club€™s most likely scorer. Fans are concerned that this negative approach may get the club relegated. It€™s will certainly be interesting to see what happens next, but there is enough evidence here to suggest Hughton should be replaced.
