Norwich City: 5 Reasons Defence Can Save Them From The Drop
4. Current Form Shows Four Consecutive Home Clean Sheets
Here is a look at the more recent history of home games, which stays on the consistent theme of the previous point. Norwich may have only won two of their last six home games, but they have performed very well in terms of the defence. If we look at the last four games at Carrow Road, not one goal has been conceded as the team has kept four consecutive clean sheets. The results in those games have been wins against Hull and Spurs along with 0-0 draws against Newcastle and Man City. A look at the current form table has Norwich in 12th place after taking eight points from six games. I think we would all agree that the Canaries would comfortably survive if they played all their games at home, but with such a poor away record; it remains somewhat of a lottery if they will survive or not. Things will probably get tense for the club before the end of the season with just 10 games to go, and the club probably needing another three wins at least to survive. In theory the club can pull that out from home games if they get the results they need against teams they should beat, but if that doesnt happen they may just need a big away performance; something many fans dont think they have in them.
