Norwich City Transfers: 5 Wingers To Replace Anthony Pilkington

2. Juan Iturbe (FC Porto)

When players go out on loan, it€™s often a sign that they aren€™t going to get an opportunity in the first for the club that they are contracted to; although, there obviously are exceptions to this because sometimes the loan system is merely used to gain experience for a given player. I mentioned in the section on Promes that there is an opportunity to strike before the player really hits the big-time, and it could well be a similar case with FC Porto winger Juan Iturbe. The player is currently on loan with Verona in Serie A, and by all accounts is excelling. As it stands, the Argentine hasn€™t yet made his full debut for his country at senior level, but the 20-year-old did make 10 appearances for the U20 side in 2009, scoring five goals. In terms of his Serie A form this season, he has scored five goals from the 14 games that he has started; he has also registered an assist and an average rating of 7.35. Further stats include 2.1 shots, 0.9 key passes and 2.9 dribbles per match.
