Ok, so Im playing fantasy football here. However, maybe its time for Norwich City to start targeting players of the calibre of Lyon winger Alexandre Lacazette. Clearly, there would be plenty of clubs looking at the 22-year-old French international, but sometimes moving first can provide an advantage of terms of nipping in ahead of other clubs. The other issue with Lacazette though is he would cost major money, which would certainly suggest a change in mentality at Carrow Road. The player is clearly a very talented goalscorer with 12 scored from the 20 games he has started in Ligue 1 this season. One of the big attractions of the player is his ability to play in so many different attacking positions. As shown by his scoring record, he certainly has the ability to play as a central striker as well as in a wide position. Perhaps one of the reasons that Ricky van Wolfswinkel has struggled for goals this season is due to the lack of quality alongside him. Therefore, a player of the quality that Lacazette has may just hold the key to unlocking the goals that the Dutch striker clearly can provide. Further stats on the player this season include 2.5 shots, 1.4 key passes and 1.7 dribbles; he has also provided one assist and an average rating of 7.38. As with the players in this list, he has ability and qualities that Norwich could use, irrespective if he was a replacement to Pilkington or merely to complement him.
