NUFC: Jonas Gutierrez's 5 Best Moments

4. First Goal

On November 7th 2009 Jonas Gutierrez scored his first goal for the Magpies after his move from Mallorca and it was certainly one to remember. Playing in the Championship against Peterborough, Gutierrez skipped past four opposition players before unleashing a fierce shot into the right-hand corner which left the keeper with no chance. He didn't celebrate with his famous Spider-Man celebration due to media reports. The goal demonstrated the South American's tremendous ability and though he was playing in the second-tier of English football at the time he was included in Argentina's squad for the South Africa World Cup and was one of his sides key players. The goal was just one point from a tremendous season for the player and Newcastle alike, as they finished the season as Champions and were promoted back into the Premier League where they have stayed ever since.
