The new Premier League season is just a few weeks away and fans all over the world are anxiously awaiting the opening weekend of matches, with the first game set to kick off on August 10. It's an exciting time for every top flight fan, but three places in particular are especially enthusiastic about this new season: a little area in South West London, the capital city of Wales, and a town in the West Midlands.

Yes, fans of promoted sides Cardiff City, Fulham FC, and Wolverhampton Wanderers will all soon have the distinct pleasure of seeing their teams in the Premier League for the first time in several years. We have to look back to the 2013-14 season for the last time Cardiff and Fulham played in the top flight, while Wolves have been down in the second tier since 2012.

Naturally, these three teams will be in for a real challenge, but each one of them will be doing all they can to get past that fabled 40-point mark and secure survival in the Premier League for another year. It won't be easy, but each squad can boast of a few star players to help them out along the way, and Premier League fans will want to keep a close eye on these new arrivals.

10. Ivan Cavaleiro (Wolves)

A full Portugal international, Cavaleiro moved to Wolves from Monaco back in 2016. He made it to the final of the U21 European Championship with his country back in 2015 and started off his professional career with Portuguese giants Benfica, excelling in youth teams and even appearing in the Champions League.

Having also spent a season on loan with Spanish side Deportivo, Cavaleiro has a lot of history of top tier football and can be expected to adapt quickly to the Premier League. In him, Wolves could have one of next season's most exciting attacking players to watch.

His stint in the West Midlands has been fantastic so far, and he played a key role in the club's promotion push last season, contributing 9 goals and 12 assists in 42 Championship appearances. A fantastic free kick taker, Cavaleiro can play on the left or right wings and is particularly adept at whipping in accurate crosses and slide rule passes for his teammates.
