A man who has always been in the mould of a European midfielder is Jack Wilshere, whose tutelage under Arsene Wenger at Arsenal has enabled him to become very much the deep lying playmaker of the European game. The 21-year-old has struggled with injury throughout his career but if he was to look abroad for a move he would not be short of suitors, with Barcelona linked with a move for him on several occasions in the past, only adding to the theory that he is well suited to the foreign game. His thrusting displays at the heart of the Gunners midfield have been there for all to see, and his high class performances in the Champions League have brought his talents to a wider audience, and many believe that Wilshere would do well at a foreign club. Unlike England players of the past, Wilshere is a man who demands the ball all the time and is never afraid to have it, looking comfortable with it at his feet or on the dribble. He is also capable of playing a killer pass through the middle of the park, and has quickly become a huge part of the Arsenal midfield. The player himself has signed a long term deal with the club, and has not shown any intention to leave, but if he did, it is unlikely he would move to another English club, and instead could try his hand at a foreign league, with his European style more than suited to a different country. Anyone else who you think could easily adapt to a foreign league? Tell us who!
