Premier League: Rating The Top 6 Chances Of Title Glory

The 2013/2014 season is one of the most open seasons since the Premier League began. This is the first time, in my memory, that there has been no clear favourite to win the Premier League title. In fact there are six clubs that all have a very good chance of winning the league. All of these six clubs have strong reasons why they might win the Premier League this year and equally there are reasons why these clubs may falter and miss out on the top spot. I have listed these reasons here so read on and decide who you think will be Premier League Champions come next May.

1. Manchester United

Why they could win the league: Man Utd have an experienced squad, a squad that have won the league before. The team know what it takes to win the league and have the know-how to come from behind in the difficult games and grind out wins. They also have a good mix of experience, in the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Michael Carrick, and youth, in Adnan Januzaj and Wilfried Zaha. Why they might not win the league: They have a new manager in David Moyes, a manager who has no experience at a top club. He did exceptionally well during his time at Everton with limited resources, but he is not used to the pressure and expectation involved with being in charge at United. Fans must be patient with Moyes and in a few years he will bring success, but this season they are very unlikely to win the league. I do think the Scot was the right man to replace Ferguson but he needs time to make the team his own and adjust to life at Old Trafford.
