Another Villa man with Premier League experience, James Chester spent time in the top flight with Hull City and West Bromwich Albion before making a switch to the Baggies' West Midlands rivals in 2016. He's since gone on to become one of Villa's most dependable players, proving to be a composed, confident central defender and even outshining former England captain John Terry at times over the last twelve months.

A mainstay in the side last year, he appeared 50 times in all competitions and netted 4 times in the Championship. He's also been a part of the Welsh national side since 2014, making 29 appearances in total and appearing in all of Wales' games in their impressive Euro 2016 campaign.

Due to financial troubles, Villa need to sell and Chester is one of several Villa Park-based players linked with a move away from the side. A product of the Manchester United academy, Chester has always been a reliable player and could be a great reinforcement for one of the promoted sides or a lower-table Premier League club.
