2. Roberto Soldado
Soldado has been the top scoring Spaniard in La Liga this year, sitting fourth behind the sublime trio of Messi, Ronaldo and Falcao. He has consistently produced excellent performances for Valencia, having led their front line for a number of seasons. However, like Sevilla, Valencia may be forced to sell Soldado to ease their financial troubles, should the right offer be received. While I spoke earlier about Negredo's potential move to Spurs, it seems more likely that Villas Boas and Daniel Levy will be targeting Soldado. The latter has a wealth of Champions League experience, and has registered more than a goal every two games for Los Che. The Metro reported as early as February that
Tottenham have been targeting Soldado, and with Adebayor and Defoe having performed unremarkably over the course of the 2012-13 season, Soldado could potentially fire Spurs into the top four.
