Value: £39.6million Sergio Aguero can only be rivalled by one man in terms of goalscoring form right now: Diego Costa. You could be forgiven for thinking the Brazilian-born Spaniard would run away with the Golden Boot this season that could still be the case, but it also looks increasingly likely a little Argentine will be breathing down his neck until the final day. Injuries limited his involvement during the 2013-14 season, but Aguero is already just five league goals short of the 17 strikes he amassed for Manchester City last term. As his goalscoring record suggests, the 29-year-old is indispensable to City, even when he's not regularly finding the back of the net although he usually is. As seems to be the case most in-form strikers, Real Madrid and Barcelona are reportedly keeping tabs on Aguero as they each prepare to table a massive bid to land the Premier League topscorer. Unfortunately for the La Liga giants, City have virtually no reason to sell their most valuable asset and might not even be tempted by offers around the £70million mark. Are these market values accurate? Who do you think is the most valuable player in the Premier League?
