2. Gabriel Agbonlahor
Such has been the recent form of Gabriel Agbonlahor, that he would probably make it onto my Most Disappointing Players of 2011/12 list. His form has declined so rapidly over the past few seasons, that despite his supreme talent as a youngster, he is now just the 3rd choice striker at Aston Villa, behind Benteke and Bent. Once upon a time, he was starting every Premier League game for Villa, bar none and was involved in the England set up, making 3 caps in the process. Now though, it is a very different Gabriel Agbonlahor. Last season he made 32 appearances for Villa in the Premier League, and he only scored a ridicoulously low 5 goals. This season hasn't been much more productive for the English striker, with only two goals in 17 games. He is now nowhere near a look in for the England side, and right now is just concentrating on trying to get into the Aston Villa team. Of course, I'm being unfair. Agbonlahor has been plagued with injuries, perhaps being one reason behind his low game count, and with multiple injuries, it becomes hard to string together two or three consecutive games and a decent run of form.
